BUTLER PAIRS IN CELEBRATION

One of our senior and respected Bridge players, Dr. Dhamankar, has completed 75 years on 29th Aug 2003. On behalf of all the players we wish him a belated happy birthday and a long life. Dr. Dhamankar will be hosting a Butler pairs event on Thursday, 25th December. All the bridge players are cordially invited to participate in this Celebration event.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW

Pramod Joshi and V.D.Sathe finished 5th in the Holkar Butler Pairs held at Indore. Suhas Vaidya and Deepak Pradhan came in 7th . Suhas Vaidya, playing for Monotona won the  Nasik State Level event.

Rama Jain Selection Trials

 

Selection Trials for the Rama Jain trophy will be held on 28th Dec 2003. The tournament will be a full day 2/3 session matchpoint pairs event jointly organised by PRBA and Deccan Club, Hirabaug, held at Hirabaug at 9:30 a.m.. ONE pair will be selected to represent PRBA at the Rama Jain tournament. Trios ARE allowed, but will not qualify for Rama Jain trophy. Suitable lunch break will be given. Entry fees: Rs. 50/- per pair. Entry fee concessions will apply. This tournament is open to all. Non members may play, but will not qualify.
